Kinetic-controlled hydrodynamics for multilane traffic models

چکیده
We study the application of a recently introduced hierarchical description traffic flow control by driver-assist vehicles to include lane changing dynamics. Lane-dependent feedback strategies are implemented at level and aggregate trends studied means Boltzmann-type equations determining three different hydrodynamics based on switching frequency. System first order macroscopic describing evolution densities along lanes then consistently determined through suitable closure strategy. Numerical examples presented illustrate features proposed approach.
